A.C.T.S.
Our Discipleship ministry is called ACTS, which stands for Academy of Christian Training and Service. We believe that every believer is in the “School of Christ” and as students of the Lord, it is our privilege and responsibility to study to show ourselves approved. The ministry is based on a Semester system, two semesters per year (a fall and spring semester). The fall Semester begins in September and goes to the first of December. The Spring Semester runs from February through April. We have a variety of classes designed for everyone. In the past we have offered Financial Peace, Beth Moore studies, Bible studies, and various other studies.

 

Financial Peace University - Davey Ramsey.
Jeremy Bandre’ will be leading Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University.” There will be a preview session on August 24th to allow you to see what you might expect from this wonderful 13 week course on handling your finances. You will learn: how to put together a spending plan that really works, step-by-step how to get out of debt, the security of an emergency fund, how to invest for the future, and much more. If you decide to be a part of this exciting course, the cost to church members will be $50.00, to non-church members $75.00. You will receive a complete kit with audios, workbooks and Dave’s book Financial Peace, and much more. Scholarships are also available. The classes will begin September 7th and run for 13 weeks.
