BRAZIL MISSIONS
First Baptist Church has a heart for international missions. This year, we are sending a team to Brazil. Their purpose first and foremost is to share the Gospel of Christ. They will also be setting up medical stations to help meet the physical needs of the people as well as helping to build a home for the pastor there and help complete the construction of a church.
Prayer Guide for the Brazil Mission Team
Thursday, May 29th
- Travel to Brazil
- Pray for no problems with baggage, customs, and all connections to be made without problems.
Friday, May 30th
- Travel Continues, Arrival
Saturday, May 31st
- Teams will set up and begin work at 7:00 a.m.
- Children's Ministry will have a morning and an afternoon Bible Study sessions.
- Evangelism team will likely go into the local neighborhoods.
- Medical team will see patients and dispense medications.
- Construction team will begin building the home.
Sunday, June 1st
- Tour churches, the mission owned farm, the Jacob's Well project, and the proposed orphanage.
- Travel to "El Christo" the statue of Christ on the mountain.
- Will attend local churches for evening worship.
Monday, June 2nd - Thursday, June 5th, Workdays
- Children's Ministry will have Bible School and visit local schools.
- May tutor children's class of over 200 who cannot attend regular school.
- Other teams will continue their work from Saturday.
- Attend Church Service at local churches.
Friday, June 6th
- Short trip to Bolivia, Lunch and Begin to Travel Home.
Saturday, June 7th - Travel and Arrive Home.
