Amber Jones

I grew up in Marks, Mississippi, and graduated from Delta Academy before moving to Oxford to attend the University of Mississippi, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business. During my time in college, I interned and served on staff at The Orchard Oxford, which deepened my love for ministry.

Business opportunities first brought me to Starkville, but in 2016 I settled in Columbus and began my real estate career. While real estate is a big part of my life, children’s ministry has always been a very big part of my life. Today, I have the privilege of serving as Children’s Director at First Baptist Church while also working as the office manager and REALTOR® at RE/MAX Partners. Though the two fields may seem very different, both bring me great joy. I love watching families find their place in a home and their place in the church.

In 2023, my life took a sweet turn when I met my husband, Brannon. We’ve loved building a life side by side—serving in the church, laughing through everyday moments, and doing life with the families at First Baptist who have become like family to us.

Outside of ministry, I enjoy spending time with my family, being creative, and finding ways to give back to our community. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation and walk with families as they grow in Christ.
