The College & Career class invites all college-aged and young adults to join us Sunday Mornings in class at 11 am! Class follows after Sunday Service for a time of fellowship among the College & Career members.

Young Married Sunday School

Meets weekly on Sundays from 11-12 pm

Couples in the earlier years of married life, seeking to grow in faith and knowledge of God‘s word, in a comfortable atmosphere that encourages discussion and sharing. We seek to grow spiritually together, while fostering deep friendships with like-minded believers while studying God‘s word, as well as enjoying fellowship and activities outside the church.

Rounds Sunday School

Meets weekly on Sundays at 8:30 am

Our class is comprised of seniors, mostly retired, and mo st of whom have been long-time members of First Baptist. Mike’s lessons are in-depth studies of the scriptures, usually with class discussion of various points. We have two or three potluck gatherings through the year just to enjoy socializing. we are genuinely concerned with trying to live as Jesus taught, with love for one another and love for your Lord. Newcomers are welcome!

Sojourners

Meets weekly on Sundays from 11-12 pm

The Sojourners Sunday School class is a welcoming community for individuals of all ages, where we come together to grow in our love for God and others. Through Bible study, fellowship, and encouragement, we seek to strengthen our faith and support one another in our Christian journey. Whether young or old, all are invited to join us as we strive to live out Christ’s love daily. Come as you are.

Bullock's co-ed Sunday School

This co-ed adult class meets on Sunday mornings at 8:30-9:30 am

Couples and singles currently 40s through 60s (any age or stage of life welcome). We seek to grow in faith, fellowship, and knowledge of God‘s Word. We strive to make everyone at any stage of Christian maturity comfortable, loved, and welcomed. We pray for each other throughout the week and share each other’s burdens. During classroom time, we study various books of the Bible, alternating between Old and New Testament books quarter by quarter. We desire to look beyond the surface level of the familiar Bible stories to find deeper meaning for our Christian walks. We encourage free discussion and questions in a free-flowing and fun environment. We also enjoy ministering, fellowshipping, and getting together outside of class.

Allgood Sunday School

This multigenerational group meets Sunday from 11-12 pm

As a class, we encourage you to visit us! We may or may not be a fit for you but give our small group a shot! And if we are not the right fit for you, the main thing is to find a group that is your fit! As anything, it may take more than one visit to make a decision and guess what? That’s okay!

Davis & Faucette Sunday School

Meets weekly on Sundays from 11-12 pm

The Davis/Faucette Sunday School class is a group of married couples ranging from late 20’s to mid 50’s with children in almost every stage of life ranging from newborns to young adults. As a class, we seek to grow in our understanding of God’s Word and apply it practically to our daily lives. Our class time centers around discussion as we typically work verse by verse through a given book of the Bible.

Hawkins Class

Senior Adult Class meets on Sunday from 8:30-9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall

We are an adult coed Sunday School class consisting of ages 55 and up. However, anyone is welcome. The purpose of the class is an in-depth study of the bible. We used the “Explore the Bible” series as a a guide which usually consists of a quaterly study of a Bible book. On averate we have approximately 25 in attendance. Come join us as our study of God’s word encourages us as we follow Christ!

Grateful Hearts Sunday School

This is an adult ladies’ Sunday school class that meets at 11-12 pm

We are a group of ladies in all ages and phases of life - single, married, widowed - who seek to grow together in the knowledge and applicaiton of God’s Word. We foster an environment of open dicussion among ladies in all stages of the walk of faith. We love fellowship in addition to our class time and enjoy getting together for both ministry opportunities and fun.

Henderson Sunday School

Meets weekly on Sundays from 8:30-9:30 am

Our class is composed of married couples and singles, mid-fifties and older, dedicated to each other and the Study of God’s word. Lessons are based on Biblical topics that are studied and discussed over several weeks, emphasizing personal growth and Biblical application.

Koinonia

Meets weekly on Sundays from 8:30-9:30 am

Koinonia Class (koi-no-ni-a - Greek) Christian Fellowship or communion with God and fellow Christians. The Koinonia Ladies Class has met at First Baptist Church continually for many years. We welcome all ages, and as a class, we seek to support each other with fellowship, prayer, encouragement, Bible Study, and Biblical application.

Lautzenhiser Sunday School

Meets weekly on Sundays from 8:30-9:30 am

The Lautzenhiser Sunday School class is led by Glen Lautzenhiser himself. Consisting of a group of men that have been meeting together for a considerable amount of years, the class centers on in-depth-lecture style teaching. The class also seeks to encourage and equip one another through times of fellowship.

Perrin Smith Sunday School

Meets weekly on Sundays from 8:30-9:30 am

The Smith Sunday School Class is a group of men led by Dr. Perrin Smith that have met together for decades. This group of men is committed to the study of scripture and mutual encouragement to one another as they seek to walk faithfully with the Lord.
